Welcome to the Student Services Technology Department blog. This blog allows the S.S.Tech. Dept. (located in School District No.71 (Comox Valley) on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada), to communicate with our technology community.
The Student Services Technology Department was created as a way to provide excellent technological support for students with special educational needs and their teams.
This includes all students under the Student Services umbrella term, including those in low incidence, learning assistance, resource, and alternate education.
Our support includes hardware, software, special projects, professional development, in-service training, and technology resources through our loan bank.
